During this photo challenge I walked up and down Broad Street looking for any interesting things that i came encounter with. Luckily I found this little boy and his mother waiting for the bus and he loved my camera so i took advantage of that opportunity and took several pictures of him. My main focus was to capture the essence of this little boy, show his innocence and enjoyment of life while he was just sitting and waiting with his mother. I also found a Muslim girl cheering with pom poms. I thought this was interesting because in the background was a man wearing camouflage uniform. I really like this picture because it makes a statement referring to the war currently going on. Enjoy 🙂

I was driving home one afternoon and thought the sky looked very interesting and I had to photograph it. Considering most of these photos were taken through the windshield of my car, I think they turned out pretty well…

I covered an event for the Philadelphia Bar Reporter at the U.S Courthouse. There I photographed for the Continuing Education seminar for future attorneys where several prominent judges spoke about their own experiences in the courtroom. Since this was my first assignment that would be published, I felt alot of pressure to make sure the photographs were “magazine friendly”, giving a variety of angles, shots, and viewpoints.

I was told to try and photograph the audience members attending the lecture so i not only took a few close ups but also a wide shot of the whole group

I had a little difficulty with the lighting in the room and I did not want to use a flash since it would distract everyone, so i put my camera on night mode to allow for more light to come through

Although i prefer not to have individuals pose, I felt as though it was necessary since it was difficult to capture a during the actual lecture

The room in the courthouse was small and I was positioned in an angle where the microphones and the judges overlapped causing conflict in the photo.
